Blackpool-based energy consultancy Trident Utilities has expanded its sales team by recruiting four new members.
The business, launched in 2001, employs 64 people and helps organisations across the UK work towards a zero-carbon future by providing consultancy on developing strategies that focus on sustainability, while also assisting them in reducing energy consumption and achieving lower carbon emissions.
Trident’s clients include Schuh, Everton FC, Guardian News and Media, and North British Distillery.
Projects that Trident has delivered include helping John Cotton, Europe’s leading manufacturer of home textiles, achieve energy tax savings of approximately £1.4m, and the Colchester Institute save 47 tonnes of carbon each year, which equates to a 26 per cent reduction in energy consumption.
New appointments to the firm’s sales team are business development managers Nigel Addison-Evans and Luka Ord-Johnson, who together have over 18 years of experience in the energy industry. They are joined by graduate recruits Millie Hugo and Shay Duffy.
Steve Sorah, sales and marketing director, commented on the new appointments. He said: "Our growth is about more than expanding our team; it’s about expanding our ability to support organisations on their decarbonisation strategies.
"Nigel, Luka, Millie, and Shay bring fresh insights that will strengthen our ability to help clients working in construction, healthcare, retail, and manufacturing navigate energy efficiency on the path to net-zero.”
