The Sub36 Awards have returned for the first time in six years to celebrate Lancashire's emerging business talent, recognising the individuals and businesses led by those under 36 who are making a difference across the county.

Following an exceptional standard of entries and nominations, the finalists for the 2026 awards have now been announced. Covering 14 categories, the awards recognise a wide range of industries, professions and career stages. From apprentices and future leaders to entrepreneurs, engineers, creatives and business owners, Sub36 shines a spotlight on the next generation helping to drive Lancashire forward.

The awards ceremony

Join us on Friday 16 October at Park Hall Hotel & Spa, Chorley, bringing together finalists, sponsors and guests from across Lancashire for an evening of celebration, entertainment and networking.

The evening will begin with a drinks reception in the Medieval Hall from 6:30pm, before guests enjoy the awards presentation and celebrations until 12:30am.

Judging

Before the awards ceremony, finalists will present to an independent judging panel during a presentation and question-and-answer session on Wednesday 2 September. The winners will then be announced at the awards ceremony on Friday 16 October.
