The Projects, Places, People and Partnerships Shaping Lancashire’s Future Lancashire is changing

Lancashire is changing through major projects.

Across the county, significant developments are moving forward in regeneration, employment, education, infrastructure and property, creating new opportunities for businesses, communities and investors.

Built Environment Conference 2026 will put those projects at the heart of the conversation, bringing together the people delivering them, the organisations investing in them and the partnerships helping to make them happen.

From major regeneration schemes and employment developments to landmark projects in education, property and infrastructure, the conference will explore what is happening, why it matters and what it takes to get projects moving

WHAT DOES IT TAKE TO GET A PROJECT MOVING?

Major developments rarely happen through one organisation alone.
This conversation brings together different perspectives on the ingredients that turn ambition into delivery: place leadership, skills, finance, professional expertise and partnership.

Featuring:

  • Nick Gerrard, Blackpool Makes It Work
  • Sarah Hall, Blackpool and The Fylde College
  • John Chesworth, Harrison Drury
  • Michael Allison, Roma Finance

Together they will explore what creates confidence, what makes projects investable, how skills and partnerships support delivery and what places can do to create the conditions for growth.

More speakers and projects will be announced.
