Marsden Building Society has released its 2025 Impact Report, highlighting its commitment to sustainability and building something better for customers, colleagues and communities.
Key achievements include:
- Launch of a Workplace Savings Scheme, enabling businesses to help employees save directly from their salary, improving financial well-being.
- Strategic branch investments, including refurbishments and relocations to maintain high street presence.
Installation of solar panels at principal office, projected to generate 46 per cent of annual electricity needs therefore cutting costs while reducing carbon footprint. - Continued support for home ownership through partnerships with Mortgage Advice Bureau, providing members with better access to mortgage products.
- Over £30,000 donated through the Marsden Building Society Charitable Foundation to Lancashire projects, supporting financial well-being, social inclusion, and the environment.
- 228 hours volunteered by colleagues, supporting local causes such as Barnardo’s and Ribble Rivers Trust.
- Proud winners of the ‘Customer Service Award’ at the Red Rose Awards 2025 and crowned ‘Employer of the Year’ at the BIBAs 2025.
