Young business professionals in Lancashire proved they know how to hit targets doing archery and networking in the great outdoors at Lancashire Business View’s first event of 2026.
There were 23 attendees taking part in ziplining, and making garlic bread over a campfire at Outdoor Elements, Burnley.
They represented a wide range of organisations including Trident, Skiddle, Brabners, PM+M, Marsden Building Society and Farleys Solicitors.
Lee and Jim Bowden, from Outdoor Elements, said: “It was a pleasure to host the Sub36 community and the delegates were incredibly positive and engaging in all activities.
“The overwhelming feedback was that it was refreshing to attend a networking event that was out of the ordinary.
“The beautiful woodland environment provided the perfect backdrop to put people at ease and foster positive relationships.
“We look forward to welcoming them back, either with their work colleagues or social networks.”
Farah Cheema, Sub36 lead for Lancashire Business View, said: “It was an amazing event and great to meet so many new people networking and having fun.
“The feedback says it all, with attendees describing it as a refreshing change from traditional networking and making it easier to build meaningful connections.”
