Rra27 Entries Open1200

The race for Lancashire’s premier business awards starts now as entries for the Red Rose Awards 2027 are open.

The 17th annual awards, presented by Lancashire Business View, will be held at Blackpool’s Winter Gardens on Thursday March 11 next year.

The event toasts the best of the best in the county across 25 different categories. New awards include the Workforce Development Award, Marketing Business Award, Responsible Business Award and the Engineering and Manufacturing Award.

Richard Slater, chairman of Lancashire Business View, said: “The Red Rose Awards are about recognising excellence and championing the businesses that make Lancashire thrive.

“Every year the quality of entries raises the bar, and we're really looking forward to seeing the innovations, achievements and inspiring stories that emerge this time around.”

Paul Nicholls, relationship director at Barclays, said: “Being involved in the Red Rose Awards is always an amazing experience. It truly is a highlight to the year being able to witness the incredible calibre of businesses that take part in these awards and heading all about their journeys and experiences.

“If any businesses out there are considering entering, stop thinking and just do it. Share your story, and help to inspire others while giving your business the recognition it deserves.”

Emma Swan, partner and divisional lead commercial at Forbes Solicitors, said: “We have been part of the Red Rose Awards since the beginning and we are proud to continue that journey as headline sponsor. For us, this sponsorship is more than an awards ceremony.

“It reflects our long term commitment to Lancashire's businesses and the people behind them, while providing an opportunity to celebrate success and champion the ambition, innovation and determination that continue to strengthen our county and shape its future.

“Over the years, both Pauline Wild and I have been involved in the judging process, which has given us a unique insight into the breadth of talent across Lancashire. Reading the entries and hearing the stories behind them is always inspiring. It highlights the innovation, resilience and entrepreneurial spirit that exists in every corner of the county and reinforces why we're so passionate about supporting an awards programme that showcases the very best of Lancashire business.”

Other businesses that have already signed up as sponsors or supporters of the awards so far are BAE Systems, Bigtank, Brabners, Brysdales, D&M Creative, Harrison Drury, High Court Enforcement, Holiday Inn, Marketing Lancashire, Menzies, Merchandise4Impact, Peter Scott Printers, PM+M, Rosebud, Sales Geek, Skiddle, Sowena Group, The Fun Experts, Trident Utilities and Viva PR.
