The highly anticipated Lancashire Festival of Business returns on Thursday 30 January 2025, at Impact Conferencing, Burnley.

This year’s festival is set to be even bigger and better and it is aimed at fostering connections, learning, and growth for businesses across the county.

Organised by Lancashire Business View and headlined by Lancashire County Council, the festival will feature a compelling mix of panel discussions, interviews, guest speakers, interactive masterclasses and  networking opportunities.

Coun Aidy Riggott, cabinet member for economic development and growth, said: “We are delighted to be the headline sponsor for the Lancashire Festival of Business, a celebration of our county's dynamic, entrepreneurial spirit.

“Supporting local businesses is central to our vision for sustainable economic growth. With Lancashire now boasting the second-largest Gross Value Added (GVA) in the North West, this festival highlights the tremendous impact businesses - large and small - have in driving innovation, creating jobs, and strengthening our local economy.

“Our involvement reflects our commitment to fostering a vibrant, ambitious business environment that strengthens Lancashire’s position as a key player in the North West’s economic landscape.”

Joanne Hindley, sales director at Lancashire Business View, added: “The festival is all about providing essential support to local businesses, and if there’s anything a business needs to thrive, they’ll find the right contacts here. It’s an invaluable opportunity to connect with industry experts and access the resources necessary for success.”

Throughout the day, attendees can explore various zones, including the main stage, which will feature keynote speakers and panels sharing their success stories, alongside an exhibition and networking area.

There will also be a masterclass stage, offering interactive sessions where participants can learn and implement new strategies in real-time.

Attending the festival offers the chance to engage with the new Lancashire business board, connect with business leaders from Lancashire County Council for insights into emerging opportunities, and participate in masterclasses and fireside chats led by industry experts with actionable takeaways.

Neil Burrows, head of skills, innovation, and employer engagement at Burnley College, said: “We’re delighted to support the Lancashire Festival of Business and are already looking forward to an even bigger and better event in 2025. Burnley College is proud to be at the very heart of the business community, and this is a great opportunity to connect with employers and entrepreneurs.”

Helen Clayton, managing partner at PM+M, said: “PM+M takes immense pride in supporting the Lancashire Festival of Business for the second year running. The event provides a great platform for inspiration and collaboration, cementing our commitment to the dynamic and flourishing business landscape in Lancashire.”

The event is proudly supported by Burnley College and PM+M, with exhibitors including The Sales Lady, Burnley Council, Love to Brand, Chorley Council, and Turnkey Corporate.

Tickets are available for £60 + VAT, or £110 + VAT for a pair, and include full access to networking, exhibitions, panels, interviews, and refreshments.
