Westholme School in Blackburn has signed up to sponsor the Leader Award at next month's Sub 36 Awards.
The school in Pleasington also hosted the awards judging last week, where all finalists attended to make their last pitch to the judges in an effort to seal victory in their respective categories.
Backed by Lancashire Business View, the Sub 36 Awards celebrate Lancashire’s next generation of business talent, shining a spotlight on younger people making things happen across Lancashire business.
The Leader Award recognises individuals who have taken responsibility, led projects, supported teams or helped drive positive change within their workplace or organisation.
Abi Hindle, head of marketing for the school, said: "Westholme School is proud to sponsor the Leader Award category at this year’s Sub36 Awards. As a school committed to inspiring young people to become confident, compassionate and ambitious future leaders, we are delighted to support an award that celebrates the exceptional emerging talent within our region.
"It was also a privilege to host the judging day at Westholme and welcome such an impressive group of finalists, each demonstrating the determination and positive influence that define outstanding leadership."
The winners will be announced at a glittering ceremony on Friday 16 October at the Park Hall Hotel in Chorley.
Sponsorship opportunities are still available for the Sub 36 Awards. If your business would like to get involved, email Joanne Hindley at [email protected]
