A new phase of homes at the Blackburn development designed by Wayne and Gerardine Hemingway has been released for sale.
Developers say sales of the first phase of properties at Green Hills on Livesey Branch Road were completed ahead of schedule.
Designs for the homes have been w inspired by traditional Lancashire farmsteads and barns and given a contemporary twist.
Along with 11 new properties being released for sale, developer Kingswood Homes has also unveiled its new Dovecote show home – a four-bedroom three-story family home with views across the newly completed village greens.
Kerry Webster, sales adviser at Kingswood Homes, said: “Phase one of Green Hills proved to be hugely successful with the majority of the initial 61 homes being sold to local people.
“The combination of the bespoke designs, the incorporation of two new village greens and the hillside setting has made for a truly unique development which has struck a chord for local people looking for something different in a new-build scheme.
“As the new phase includes a range of properties from two-bedroom apartments to four-bedroom detached homes there is something for everyone and every budget and we expect the new phase to be reserved quickly.”
Paul Jones, managing director of Kingswood Homes, added: “We effectively tore up the rule book with Green Hills, showing that it is not only possible to create a new development with such a large number of bespoke, individual designs but also that local people looking for a new home care about design and want something different from the normal identikit homes many volume developers produce.
“At Green Hills, the emphasis was always on people and space over cars and density and this is another reason why the development has been so successful to date.”
