130-year-old accountancy joins forces with national firm

One of Lancashire's longest established professional firms has joined Streets, a UK top 40 accountancy and advisory practice with practices nationwide.

Blackpool headquartered John Potter & Harrison was founded in 1892 by former mayor of Blackpool John Potter and has been part of the town’s business community for more than 130 years.

Today the practice operates from offices in Whitegate Drive, Blackpool, and also has an office in Lytham St Annes. Its 10 strong team supports professional services firms, local businesses, sole traders and individuals across the Fylde coast and beyond.

Senior partner Ian Riding said: “Joining Streets is the next chapter in a story that began more than 130 years ago. We wanted to find a firm that understood the importance of our heritage and shared our commitment to looking after clients personally.

John Potter & Harrison will retain its local identity, offices and relationships while gaining access to a wider range of specialist accountancy, tax and business advisory services.
