Blackpool building services engineering contractor Ameon has officially joined the growing list of businesses championing young people in Preston by becoming a founder Patron of Vault Youth Zone.
As a Founder Patron, Ameon will play a pivotal role in sustaining Vault Youth Zone’s long-term impact.
Their support, which represents £25K a year for four years, will help fund a wide range of high-quality activities, professional youth work, and a safe, inspiring environment for young people aged 8–19, and up to 25 for those with additional needs.
Scott Andrews, director at Ameon, said: “Ameon is committed to acting responsibly and supporting initiatives that have a lasting, positive impact on local communities.
"Becoming a Founder Patron of Vault Youth Zone reflects a commitment to support organisations that provide young people with safe, structured environments and access to opportunities that support their development. As a business, we are delighted to support Vault’s initiatives, which we are certain will deliver long-term, positive outcomes for young people.”
Tim Jacques, chief executive at Vault Youth Zone, added: “We’re thrilled to welcome Ameon as a Founder Patron.
"Their backing strengthens the whole team behind this project and shows real leadership within the business community. Together, we’re creating a place where young people can feel supported, motivated and ready to score big goals in life.”
Vault Youth Zone, part of the national OnSide Network, will be open seven days a week and offer more than 20 different activities, including sports, arts, music, media, and skills development workshops.
With Ameon becoming the latest Founder Patron, Vault Youth Zone moves one step closer to delivering a transformational space for Preston’s young people.
It comes after last week, Lancashire Business View reported that Harrison Drury was a patron of the facility.
