Personal view: Coral Horn

Director of Blackpool-based ladies networking group Pink Link Ladies shares her reasons for setting up the group, ways to wind down after a long day in the office and the joys of car karaoke.

Coral HornName: Coral Horn
Company: Pink Link Ladies Ltd
Position: Director

Brief CV:
I have worked in sales, sales management and sales training throughout my career holding senior positions within blue chip companies.

I set up Acumen Sales Coaching with my business partner and friend Rae Stephenson. We met so many great ladies in business and realised there was an opportunity to connect them all, so we set up the Pink Link Ladies, a ladies business networking group.

What’s keeping you at the moment?
I am constantly juggling my jobs, speaking to ladies interested in our network and speaking to clients about their sales needs.

I am spending a lot of time planning our next group which is to be launched in January, meeting people who want to join, sponsor us or provide a venue.

Favourite music:
Kings of Leon: top music to do ‘car karaoke’ to when you are stuck in a traffic queue.

Must-watch TV:
Fast Forward is absolutely unmissable. It’s from the makers of Lost, it’s on Channel 5 (Monday nights, 9pm), so tune in.

Ideal way to wind down after work:
Body Blast class at the gym, it works all those bits that you may not have been exercised while sat in the car or at your desk.

Best piece of business advice:
Say “Yes” to everything.

I totally agree with everything Carmen said! I met the dynamic duo a couple of years ago at a networking event. Full of energy and confidence with a 'can do' attitude. I've also had the pleasure of attending a couple of their Sales training courses. Informative and great fun. When they told me about Pink Link Ladies I signed up instantly!!!

I first met Coral & Rae about 2 years ago and was instantly impressed with their energy & enthusiasm so it was no surprise when they set up Pink Link recently. What was a nice surprise was when I was `asked to become a "Pink Peer". These two ladies embody the true spirit of "Givers Gain".
