A leading European foam manufacturer with an operation in Accrington has revealed it continues to make progress on its sustainability report.
The Vita Group has highlighted five years of progress which it says has been made during a challenging economic environment.
During that period, it says sustainability has been embedded more closely into innovation and procurement to support the long-term growth of the business.
Omar Hoek, group chief executive of The Vita Group, said: “2025 has been a demanding year for industry, but we have stayed focused on delivering sustainable growth.
"By strengthening the link between sustainability, innovation and procurement, we are building a more resilient business.
“Our progress is grounded in practical action, from advancing circular materials to working more closely with suppliers. This is how we will continue to reduce our impact while staying competitive.”
Natalie Watson, director of sustainability at The Vita Group, added: “This report reflects a clear step forward in how we manage and report sustainability."
