Leyland based online bathroom retailer Victorian Plumbing has seen its pre-tax profits soar by 68 per cent to £15.1m driven by record revenue.
Announcing its annual figures today, the group reported that revenue rose five per cent to £310m in the year to September 30, 2025, after order volume grew by six per cent to a record 1.1 million.
In an upbeat statement Mark Radcliffe, founder and chief executive of Victorian Plumbing, said: “We have further strengthened our market share, reinforcing our position as the UK’s number one bathroom retailer, while improving our marketing efficiency alongside our ever-increasing brand awareness.”
The group’s tiles and flooring revenue performed strongly - increasing by 42 per cent to £17.6m. Trade revenue was also up, increasing by 10 per cent to £73.8m.
Victorian Plumbing also revealed that it is continuing to build the product range of MFI, following a soft launch of the reinvented brand in July, as it looks to enter the UK homewares market.
A full launch is planned for 2026 and the group expects MFI to incur an overall loss of between £2.6m and £3.4m in the current year.
Victorian Plumbing’s warehouse transformation, completed in December 2024, has also helped its progress in strategic growth areas.
The group has had a positive start to the current financial year with continued revenue growth across all categories, in line with market expectation.
Mark Radcliffe added: “As a highly cash generative business with a strong balance sheet, we continue to invest for long term profitable growth and to increase our returns to shareholders.
“We are confident that Victorian Plumbing’s strategy will continue to deliver long term value to all stakeholders.”
