3D 360 Skills Training named winner of the People Power Award, Skills Leading Change at the 2026 National Skills Academy for Nuclear (NSAN) Skills Awards.
3D 360 Skills Training, the northwest-based skills and training provider, has been named winner of the People Power Award, Skills Leading Change at the 2026 National Skills Academy for Nuclear (NSAN) Skills Awards, one of the most prestigious events in the nuclear sector calendar.
The award was presented at the Kimpton Clocktower Hotel, Manchester in a ceremony held last week.
Founded in 2020, 3D 360 currently delivers UK Government funded and fee-based skills training programmes across Cheshire, Lancashire, Merseyside and Cumbria, specialising in advanced manufacturing, electric vehicles and nuclear, with a stated mission to close critical skills gaps and make advanced technology accessible to the people and communities that need it most.
Paul Bullock, managing director of 3D 360 Skills Training, said: "We have always believed that the best training puts people directly on the path to real work, in real roles, with real employers.
"Every learner who progresses, every business we upskill and every community we reach is social value you can measure, and that is exactly what we set out to create from day one."
Five years of measurable impact
Since its founding, 3D 360 has delivered independently verified outcomes across the Northwest, including:
• 2,500+ learners completing fully funded or subsidised programmes
• More than 80 per cent of learners securing employment or achieving career progression as a direct result of training
• 600+ businesses upskilled across advanced manufacturing, EV and nuclear
• £400,000+ of 3D printers gifted to businesses and individuals, plus £65,000+ of free equipment to 400+ schools
• 375,000 school children gaining access to specialist digital manufacturing equipment
• £3m in independently verified social and local economic value
Skills for the whole local economy, not just one sector
While the NSAN award recognises 3D 360's contribution to the nuclear skills pipeline, the company is keen to emphasise that its reach extends well beyond the nuclear sector.
Its DfE funded Advanced Manufacturing Skills Bootcamps are open to residents and employers across the northwest region, covering 3D printing, CAD, AI, robotics and automation, electric vehicle maintenance, and an evolving range of nuclear training programmes - a sector where there are huge opportunities for career switchers.
The bootcamps are designed for entry-level candidates, career changers and employers looking to upskill existing staff, with direct links to regional employers and supply chains. Funded places are available, and the programmes are delivered flexibly to reduce barriers for learners balancing work and family commitments.
