Chorley commercial washrooms specialist Inscape Interiors has secured a series of project wins to manufacture and install washroom facilities at city centre regeneration schemes across the UK.
Working alongside leading contractors, the company is growing its portfolio of work on developments designed to revitalise high streets and town centres.
In Newcastle, Inscape will provide washroom facilities for Freight Island at Eldon Square on Percy Street, on behalf of STP Construction. The development will transform a former Debenhams unit into a large-scale food, drink and entertainment venue.
In Sheffield, Inscape has been appointed to work with Willmott Dixon Construction on the Fargate Sheffield Events Centre. The scheme will convert a former retail building into a new events and cultural venue, forming part of the wider regeneration of Sheffield’s city centre.
In Manchester, Inscape will support VINCI on the Bury Market and Flexihall development. The project will modernise the historic market while delivering a flexible events and community space, helping strengthen Bury’s town centre as a regional destination.
And in Scotland, Inscape will work alongside Morrison Construction on the development of the New Aberdeen Market. The project will deliver a modern marketplace and food hall that will contribute to the regeneration of Aberdeen’s city centre.
Paul Partington, business development director at Inscape, said: “We’re proud to be working on these schemes across the UK and partnering with some of the industry’s leading contractors.
"Strong, longstanding relationships are a big part of what we do, and it’s great to see contractors continuing to place their trust in us.
“Regeneration projects like these create real benefits to their communities – they attract investment, create jobs and help deliver places that people want to visit, work and spend time, which in turn supports local businesses.
"We’re supporting these developments by providing durable washroom facilities designed for busy, high-footfall environments, that will last for years to come.”
Across the UK, the projects form part of wider city-centre regeneration programmes with a combined construction value of more than £90m. Freight Island at £16m redevelopment, Fargate Events Centre at £14.4m, Bury Market at £33m and the New Aberdeen Market is valued at over £30m.
