Record year for Centriq Group

Blackpool-based Voiteq and Cirrus Logistics, part of Centriq Group, have delivered outstanding results and growth in 2014.

In addition to adding over 40 new voice sites and securing large contracts with global customers in the retail, consumer goods and oil and gas industries, the group’s strong local capability in each region has resulted in substantial repeat business from existing customers.

In line with these results, the group invested further in its highly skilled personnel and added more than 12 specialists to the team, taking the total number of staff to over 100.

The Centriq Group now consists of four subsidiaries: Voiteq UK, Voiteq North America, Voiteq France and Cirrus Logistics; each headed by experienced industry leaders.

In the UK, ongoing investment resulted in key new customer wins as well as strong rollout and upgrade business from existing customers. The exceptional year culminated with the appointment of Isabel McCabe as UK managing director who brings a wealth of operations, IT and supply chain knowledge to the business.

“Five years ago, we set ourselves a goal to double the size of our business and expand internationally. With our dedicated team of professionals, award winning products and customer focused solutions, we have been able to more than achieve that goal and have become the ‘go to’ Voice, supply chain modelling and port scheduling specialists in the market,” remarked David Stanhope, CEO of Centriq Group.

The year also saw Voiteq winning the prestigious IGD award in Supply Chain Innovation for its VoiceMan Intelligent Volumetric Cubing solution at Kellogg’s; as well as being shortlisted in the European Supply Chain Excellence Awards. The company was also named as the Bidvest 3663 Supplier of the Year and was once again recognised as Honeywell’s Vocollect Voice Partner of the Year for EMEA and remains the largest certified Voice provider globally. “We have very dedicated and skilled teams that we’re very proud of. It’s our people, solutions and valued customers that make our business a success,” commented Stanhope. “We have just closed the books on our best performing year to date and remain focused on continuing our success in 2015.”
