Fast-growing Circular1 Health recruits CFO to further expand the business

Circular1 Health – a Covid testing and digital health business located throughout the North West and South – has announced a major expansion of its senior executive team.

The business – established just under a year ago in March 2020 – has appointed Paolo Benedetto as CFO. This key executive appointment was placed by Claire Sofield from Four Recruitment.

“As a fast growth company, the need for an experienced CFO was incredibly urgent”. Circular1 Health CEO, Stuart MacLennan, explains.

“We launched the business in March 2020 and the growth we have experienced in this period has been phenomenal. We continue on an upward trajectory, enabling mission critical businesses to continue operating through this challenging time, while also expanding the digital health side of our business.

“We are now working on international projects, providing a fully managed service to the nuclear, defence, energy and travel sectors.”

Stuart added: “The requirement for an experienced CFO with a solid track record in business growth was essential to support our business strategically now and in the future Paolo brings skills and experience that will help take the management of the business’s growth to the next level.”

“However, a standard notice period of a CFO was just not an option for us, due to the speed our business is growing.

“Working closely with executive recruitment specialist Claire Sofield at Four, she was able to scope the market and shortlist a number of potential candidates incredibly quickly, allowing us to appoint Paolo within an astonishing four-week timeframe”.

Paolo joins Circular1 Health with many years’ experience in executive roles including a record of implementing strategic growth initiatives. He has held roles at Taziker, IDEX and more recently as a consulting CFO for a number of private equity businesses.
