Bathroom retailer Victorian Plumbing has recorded strong trading - driven by warehouse transformation and improved delivery times.
The Leyland headquartered group's revenue rose by five per cent to £310m in the financial year ending September 20,2025, despite challenging conditions which saw the UK's home improvement and DIY market fall by an estimated three per cent.
In a trading update the company reported that its adjusted EBITDA rose by 17 per cent, from £27.2m to £31.8m. Pre-tax profit stood at £21.8m.
It said that its continued market share gains were underpinned by the strength of its product range with order volumes growing by six percent and a record 1,080,000 orders delivered during the year.
Trade revenue grew 10 per cent to £74m and now contributes 24 per cent of group revenue.
Tiles and décor revenue surged by 40 per cent to £17m.
Mark Radcliffe, chief executive of Victorian Plumbing, said: "I am pleased to report another solid financial and operational performance following an exciting 12 months for the group.
"Our own brand proposition and availability of a wide range of high-quality bathroom products and accessories continue to resonate with our customers.
"Our new state of the art distribution centre continues to enable us to fulfil orders more efficiently and support our ambition to grow both our trade and expansion categories."
Lancashire Business View reported in May that the group was set to enter the UK homewares market through the 'reinvented' MFI brand.
Speaking about the MFI brand, Mark Radcliffe added: " We have also continued our strategic investment in the Victorian Plumbing brand and were pleased to soft launch the MFI brand in July.
"The feedback from customers has been positive and we look forward to growing the proposition and launching a broader range of products in H1 2026.”
