Energy consultancy Trident Utilities, based in Blackpool, has strengthened its commercial team with two new appointments.
Launched in 2001, Trident Utilities employs 64 people and helps organisations across the UK work towards a zero carbon future by providing consultancy on sustainability focused energy strategies. The company helps clients reduce energy consumption, lower carbon emissions, and improve operational efficiency.
The latest appointments include Alex Barlow, who has joined the business as head of new business generation, and Madeliene Mustow, who has been recruited as marketing assistant.
In his new role, Alex will focus on developing new business opportunities and strengthening relationships with organisations looking to improve their energy efficiency and sustainability performance. He joins Trident from Inspired Energy, where he led acquisition and partner sales teams, driving new business generation, building and managing partner relationships, supporting team development and driving commercial growth across the division.
Madeleine, a recent graduate, will support the company's growing marketing function.
Steve Sorah, sales and marketing director, said: "As demand for expert energy and sustainability advice continues to grow, it is important we continue to invest in our people and capabilities.
"Alex brings valuable expertise in generating and developing new business opportunities, while Madeliene will play an important role in supporting our marketing activity and strengthening our brand presence.
"These appointments will help us build on our growth and further enhance our ability to support organisations across a range of sectors as they work towards their energy efficiency and decarbonisation goals."
