The annual Trevor Dawson Charity Golf Day returned for 2025, bringing the business community together to raise funds for the Blackburn and Darwen Youth Zone, a fantastic charity changing young lives in the Lancashire Area.
Supporting young people across the community is something close to the hearts of everyone at Trevor Dawson, and the generosity on display was nothing short of inspiring.
Held at the picturesque Clitheroe Golf Club, the event saw 21 teams take to the course under clear skies, with excellent playing conditions throughout the day.
The winning team, BEK Enviro, claimed the top spot with an outstanding score of 100 points. In a standout moment, David Hill of the Napthens team hit an unforgettable hole-in-one on the 17th hole, earning well-deserved applause from all.
In total, an impressive £7,000 was raised, all of which will go directly to supporting vital programmes and opportunities for young people in the local area.
Caroline James, managing director of Trevor Dawson, said: “We were delighted to once again host our Charity Golf Day at Clitheroe Golf Club in aid of Blackburn and Darwen Youth Zone, and even more pleased that the weather was on our side.
"With our main office based in Blackburn, we see firsthand the incredible impact the Youth Zone has in our community.
"A huge thank you to everyone who took part, donated, and supported the cause. We’re proud to continue backing the important work they do and look forward to seeing the charity’s growth and expansion in the future.”
Wayne Wild, chair of Blackburn & Darwen Youth Zone, said: “We’re incredibly grateful to Trevor Dawson for raising an outstanding £7,000 at their annual golf day.
