The founder of a wellbeing farm in Lancashire that is famous for its llamas in bow ties, is celebrating being nominated for a third major business award in quick succession.
Celia Gaze, founder of The Wellbeing Farm in Edgworth, has already been nominated for Employer of the Year and Diversification of the Year at the prestigious British Farming Awards.
And now, she's completed a hat-trick of nominations for top honours after being named as a national finalist in the Purpose Before Profit category at the Lloyds British Business Excellence Awards in October.
Delighted Celia said: "This a category that couldn’t feel more aligned with my mission.
"But this is more than just an award - it’s the UK’s most prestigious business awards programme, celebrating businesses leading the way in sustainability, diversity, and impact.
"It’s a chance to present my hospitality business to a panel of high-powered judges in London – the ultimate marketing opportunity.
"It’s an invite to BAFTA for a finalist reception – a 'pinch-me' moment if ever there was one.
It’s a seat at the luxury Grosvenor House Hotel at a swanky awards ceremony, alongside businesses I once admired from afar and I'm now sharing the same table with.
"We will probably be one of the smallest businesses there, but it’s a powerful affirmation that whatever your size, what we’re doing matters – that our hard work, challenges, values and impact have been recognised at a national level.
"Becoming a finalist isn’t just about recognition — it’s about reflection, pride, and celebration.
"Most importantly, it’s about taking a moment to honour the journey, the team behind the scenes, and the belief that business can be a force for good.
"Thank you, Ellie Baker at Lloyds, for encouraging me to apply, and thank you, Lloyds Banking Group, for creating a platform that champions purpose-led businesses.
"Finally, thank you to everyone who’s supported me on this wild, conscious, bow-tie-wearing ride, especially my amazing team, my brother Harry Gaze for his creativity in transforming the barn, Steve Whitehead, my amazing partner, for letting me do ‘something’ with his farm and Victor Giannandrea for your never-ending support.
"And finally, thank you to my Llamas for helping me stand out in a very crowded market - I'm so excited to fly the flag for Lancashire in October."
