Stoke-on-Trent College and Stoke-on-Trent Council have commissioned Blackpool-based Roadshow Promotions to help deliver a groundbreaking initiative aimed at improving residents' numeracy skills.

The initiative is part of the government’s Multiply programme, designed to enhance adult numeracy across the country.

RSP18, Roadshow Promotions' corporate class educational bus was used as part of the “Stoke by Numbers” campaign, which is set to transform lives by offering flexible and free numeracy training to the residents of Stoke-on-Trent. This initiative is one of the many tours that Lancashire-based Roadshow Promotions is supporting, providing training buses for Multiply campaigns across the country, as well as other educational initiatives.

The “Stoke by Numbers” campaign brings together a collaboration of partners, each offering courses and advice on selecting the right course for individual needs. On board the campaign-branded double-decker bus visitors engaged in fun-based activities, received tips, and participated in interactive problem-solving exercises.

The promotional bus tour received a boost when the Lord Mayor of Stoke-on-Trent, Councillor Majid Khan and Lisa Capper, principal and CEO of Stoke-On-Trent College visited the bus to show their support for the initiative.

The double decker promotional bus, also known as Beatrice, is one of our modular bus fleet. It featured eye-catching brand graphics that captured the attention of visitors on its tour of Stoke. The Roadshow Promotions team provided a driver and handled all the logistics of the week-long tour. The training bus visited key locations including the city centre, Stoke-on-Trent’s ASDA supermarket, and opposite the Barewall Art Gallery to reach diverse audiences.

Roadshow Promotions' director Natasha Greenley said: “We’re delighted to be a part of the Stoke By Numbers campaign. Having confidence in numbers helps empower individuals in their daily lives. Knowing your numbers helps with many things in life including DIY projects, baking, managing the weekly shop as well as with job prospects and helping children with their homework. It’s great to see how a promotional bus can be used to help reach out to communities and share awareness of life-affirming skills.”

Through our promotional marketing tours, we help national organisations and global brands get ‘out there’ and make an impact. Companies can get a quote for a bus in under a minute here.
