Organisers predict strong field for Finance Awards

With two weeks to the deadline, Steve Crohill, the organiser of the North West Finance Awards says that nominations are running at their highest level ever.

NWFA“We’re ten percent up on this stage last year,” he says, and urges businesses in the region to get their entry in as soon as possible.

“The standard of entry has already been impressive, but the deadline is Friday 25 July, and cannot be extended.”

As the awards media partner, Lancashire Business View is covering the judging, which begins immediately after nominations close. That phase begins with a celebratory charity fundraiser scheduled for Saturday 26 July, in support of Kidscan, which researches and helps cope with the challenges of childhood cancer in the North West.

“This is an opportunity in the limelight for the unsung heros of North West industry,” adds Steve Crohill, “and this is the time to consider who you could nominate – or who could nominate you.”

There are sixteen awards up for grabs, open to everyone from individual practitioners and small businesses to large corporate teams. Winners will be announced at a gala dinner in front of 900 guests on Thursday 25 September, at the Reebok Stadium conference centre in Bolton. Nomination is free and there are more details on the NWFA website
