Jigsaw lands major training contract

Food and support services provider Compass Group UK & Ireland has chosen Jigsaw Training to deliver a comprehensive apprenticeship programme to hundreds of employees across its business.

The partnership, which is for three years, will see more than 1,500 frontline employees receive the training needed to complete a Level 2 apprenticeship in areas including customer service, retail, cleaning, food and beverage service, support services in healthcare, business administration and team leadership.

Jigsaw Training’s services will meet the standards of NOCN and City & Guilds as well as all Ofsted requirements. This will include identification of suitable employees, competent assessment, delivery of training, reviews, ongoing support, assessment and verification of internal systems and exams.

James Blackhurst, managing director at Jigsaw Training, said: “This programme will be designed around the people and their specific needs. We will ensure they all receive relevant training and support in the way they can take most benefit out of it whether it is on-the-job, theory or remote; or a combination of activities.
