Longridge Soap Box Derby

We’re thrilled to be the charity partner for the Love Longridge Soap Box Derby for the third year running!

It’s an incredible family fun day with a difference – witness the wacky kart race through town and enjoy lots of entertainment, food, activities and more on 14th September!

Love Longridge, now in their fourth year of organising this incredible, colourful event, have been working incredibly hard behind the scenes to ensure that the Longridge Soapbox Derby is another full day of fun-packed activities - even more so in 2025. After 2022’s, 2023 and 2024's phenomenally successful events, we expect to attract up to 7,500 people from Longridge and surrounding areas.

Our Soap Box teams, are integral to the day so if you are interested in joining us in 2025 with a Soap Box for the 2025 derby, complete the form on the Love Longridge website and you'll be the first to find out about the event details so you can secure a place!!

And don't forget, your soapbox will not only need to try and reach the finish line...we are looking for cool designs and the hare-brained ideas resulting in the wackiest karts to be seen in Longridge!

Not in it to win it? That’s okay as it’s not all about being the fastest - we have prizes for showmanship, innovation and best dressed so bring the fun and you could still win a prize. Your soapbox is only half of the show as the team is a wacky extension of your Kart so you will need to wow us with a 20 second performance before you launch yourself downhill!
