From humble beginnings to industry leader – a story of growth and dedication to sustainability

ECO Providers, a trailblazer in energy efficiency and sustainability, has gone from strength to strength since its inception.

Founded with a passion for delivering energy-saving solutions, the company now stands as one of the most trusted names in the industry, serving communities across the UK.

Under the leadership of Tom Myers who bought out his business partner in October 2023, ECO Providers has rapidly expanded, increasing its team to over 100 employees, including apprentices, and successfully broadening its services to include private solar installations.

A Vision Realized

Tom, director of ECO Providers, said: “When I first started the business, I had a clear vision of creating a company that not only made a difference in people's lives but also led the charge in the green economy.

“Over the years, we’ve consistently stayed true to those values, helping families save money on their energy bills while reducing carbon emissions. It’s incredible to see how far we’ve come, but we’re just getting started.”

ECO Providers has built a strong reputation for delivering government-backed schemes such as ECO4, GBIS, and private solar solutions.

Tom’s leadership and commitment to the company's growth have resulted in increased collaboration with local councils, charities, and other partners to alleviate fuel poverty and improve the housing stock across the UK.

Awards and Recognition

The journey has not gone unnoticed. In the past year alone, ECO Providers won several prestigious awards, including the Scale-Up Business of the Year at the BIBAs 2024, the People and Culture of the Year at the North West Construction Awards, and multiple accolades at the National Energy Efficiency Awards, including National Renewable Heat Installer and National Director of the Year (3rd place).

These recognitions underscore the company’s ongoing success in achieving both business growth and positive societal impact.

Tom added: “We’re incredibly proud of these achievements, but I think the real recognition comes from the difference we’re making in people's lives.

“Seeing the positive impact we’ve had on our clients, employees, and the communities we serve is what motivates me every single day.”

Commitment to Sustainability

A key part of ECO Providers’ success has been its commitment to sustainability. The company already operates with a near 100 per cent off-grid model and is actively expanding its fleet of electric vehicles to reduce its carbon footprint.

They’ve installed solar panels on their office roof and continue to invest in green technologies such as Tesla Powerwall 3 systems and renewable heat solutions for homes across the country.

Tom added: “We’re a company driven by innovation and sustainability, and we’re always looking for new ways to reduce our impact on the planet. Our work is about creating a more energy-efficient world, and every step we take toward that goal is a step toward a brighter future for the next generation."

Looking Ahead

As ECO Providers looks to the future, Tom is focused on continuing the company’s expansion and delivering more high-quality energy efficiency solutions to even more households.

With plans for more product offerings, partnerships, and job creation, ECO Providers is positioned to be at the forefront of the green economy for years to come.

Tom added: “Our journey is one of hard work, resilience, and unwavering belief in the value we bring to the table.

“We’re excited for what the future holds and the opportunity to continue to make a positive impact in the communities we serve.”
