Peter Jackson the Jeweller acquired by WATCHO

Peter Jackson the Jeweller's Preston and Blackburn stores have been acquired by London-based WATCHO Jewellers.

Peter has sold the long-established watch and jewellery store after announcing earlier this year that he planned to retire.

Following his retirement, WATCHO bosses have confirmed the store will continue to trade without interruption, with the existing team remaining in place.

WATCHO Jewellers is a family-owned independent retailer founded in 1979 with stores in Milton Keynes and Richmond, London. 

Peter said: "I am delighted to announce that our beautiful shops in Preston and Blackburn are now under new ownership. WATCHO, an established and respected family jeweller will bring with them new ideas and collections and take the business forward to its next chapter. The Management and staff will remain and look forward to welcoming you as always."

WATCHO plans to bring its signature watch heritage events and jewellery evenings -community-focused evenings that celebrate the stories, history and craft behind the watches
and jewellery the store carries - to Preston.
