Accrington Stanley Football Club is offering an exciting opportunity for a business to sponsor the iconic Eric Whalley Family Stand.

A fantastic chance for brands to align with one of the most community-focused clubs in English football, the Eric Whalley Family Stand, located in the highly visible TV arc, regularly features in matchday broadcasts and highlight shows around the world - offering superb exposure throughout the season.

Named in honour of the legendary former chairman Eric Whalley, the stand is a central feature of the Wham Stadium, housing both home and away supporters on matchdays.

Accrington Stanley are enjoying their 20th consecutive season in the English Football League, and the club continues to build on its proud heritage as one of the founding members of the Football League, as well as one of the ‘most famous small clubs in the world’, providing an ideal branding opportunity for businesses to showcase their products and services.

The chosen sponsor will also take part in one of Stanley’s most beloved community events - the Big Shirt Giveaway. Held every September, thousands of local Year 3 children attend the Wham Stadium to receive a replica Accrington Stanley shirt, before press photos are taken in the Eric Whalley Family stand, giving the new sponsor further positive exposure.

Warren Eastham, chief executive of Accrington Stanley, said: “Sponsoring the Eric Whalley Family Stand isn’t just about getting your name on a prominent part of our stadium - it’s about being part of something much bigger.

“This is a stand that’s at the heart of our matchday experience and a cornerstone of our community initiatives. We’re proud of our history, our fans, and our role in the local area, and we’re looking for a partner who shares those values. It’s a brilliant opportunity for any business that wants to make a real impact.”

Businesses interested in this unique sponsorship opportunity are encouraged to contact the club by calling 01254 356950 (OPT 1) or by emailing [email protected].
