Celebrating National Apprentice Week 2021

As part of National Apprenticeship Week 2021, we took some time with Carley Farrington, Swansway Group Recruitment and Apprenticeship Advisor. We asked her why apprenticeships deliver such great value to everyone involved in our programmes.

“My main objective is to find and nurture talent, and to make sure that all the learning undertaken becomes embedded in the business. It is so rewarding, because you can see all the happiness each apprentice has as they progress, and this is shared by all of us who invest in them.

We have a really high retention rate for our apprentices here at Swansway Group, and we are really proud of that. We think it’s because as a family business, we are really committed to providing a really effective support network at the place of work, and by choosing the right course provider. And of course I am here to help all the apprentices get whatever they need to achieve.

Whenever we can, we will be expanding our programmes, to take account of new skillsets required, or greater demand. We know it’s a formula that works incredibly well for all of us!”

We would wholeheartedly recommend implementing apprenticeship programmes to any appropriate business, as our apprentices are a huge part of our enduring success. This is one of the many reasons why we are very proud to be supporting National Apprenticeship Week 2021.
