The Blackpool Growth Business Academy will continue providing fully funded business support until March 2027 after securing additional funding.
The academy will continue to help Blackpool businesses start, grow and scale through tailored advice, mentoring and practical guidance.
Since launching in autumn 2023, it has supported almost 600 businesses across the town, helping entrepreneurs, start-ups and established companies develop and achieve their growth ambitions.
Angela Kershaw, head of business growth at Blackpool Council, said: “Blackpool is full of ambitious businesses and passionate people with fantastic ideas, and the demand for support continues to grow.
“We’re delighted that additional funding has been secured to allow us to continue supporting businesses across the town.
“Whether someone is taking their very first step into business or looking to grow an established company, having access to tailored support and practical guidance can make a real difference.”
