Warrantywise, one of the UK’s largest car warranty companies, has had an outstanding year of growth.

The company posted exceptional results for the first financial quarter of 2021 – registering a very healthy 116 per cent rise in revenue from vehicle warranty sales to £6.7m - versus £3.1m during the same period in 2020.

The unaudited interim results for the three months ending on July 31, also show that the number of warranty plans sold rose by over 101 per cent to 39,540.

Understanding how much people rely on their vehicles, even during a pandemic, Warrantywise ensured it did everything they could to maintain the excellent levels of sales support and service customers have come to expect. This dedication has resulted in increased staff levels, and it now employs more than 120 staff and has a number of open vacancies.

During this growth Warrantywise has committed to investing in its systems, processes and importantly people to continue to support business growth and customer service. One way this has been recognised is that, for the second year running, car dealers have voted it the best warranty provider in the Car Dealer Power Awards, beating all UK competition.

Car Dealer Magazine has been running the prestigious awards since 2010. Pre pandemic, it would be held at the top of the Spinnaker Tower in Portsmouth, and has adapted to be run online. The much coveted award is significant as it’s voted for by car dealers across the UK – from within the industry, they are reflecting how they rate their suppliers, in 13 different aspects of business from website design to product innovation.

Testimonials, opinions and feedback received over four months as part of the survey are analysed by the Car Dealer judging team and ranked. For the second year running, Warrantywise have come out on top of the Warranty Provider category.

Lawrence Whittaker, CEO of Warrantywise, said upon hearing the fantastic news: “We did everything possible to keep business as usual for customers in very testing times, and I’m absolutely delighted to receive this top honour not once, but twice. Because it’s voted for by the trade, we know that our customers really value us and it’s a testament to the team here and all their hard work and effort. We continued to grow and build after the first win, and I’m so proud of everyone, this really means a lot to all of us.”

Mark Khan, chief sales officer, added: “We have a clear focus on our dealers and always work hard to support them and their customers, even having a dedicated team of dealer account managers. We’ve invested in our people, and our systems to ensure we continue to provide a first class service at all times. Winning this top award reinforces to the whole team just how worthwhile our hard work is.”

Warrantywise prides itself on always looking for new innovations to support dealers, including an online dealer portal which covers stock management, free finance and history checks, warranty bookings, stock replenishment, marketing support, profit margin calculator and even a dealer reward system.

Warrantywise offer warranties on cars, vans, fleets, trade warranties, and vehicle inspections. More can be seen on their website https://www.warrantywise.co.uk
