Blackburn-based Time2 Technology has introduced three new innovative smart devices to protect British homes around-the-clock as two new startling crime facts have been revealed.

New figures from the Office for National Statistics show that in 2020, 57% of burglaries took place between 6pm and 6am, and 58% of burglaries happened when someone was home. That means that without adequate home protection, the long, dark nights of the UK’s autumn and winter give would-be burglars their best chance of successfully committing a crime.

Time2 Technology counters this threat with a range of devices that protect the home at any time of day or night and can be accessed, viewed and controlled remotely. Better still, the video doorbell, battery-powered outdoor camera and outdoor camera with floodlights and siren are each available without ongoing subscription fees.

They form part of Time2’s Clan range, meaning they can be activated and monitored from anywhere in the world at any time of night or day by a free and secure mobile phone app, via smartphone, tablet, desktop PC, or through integration with both Amazon Alexa and Google Home.

They join the Clan range of indoor and outdoor security cameras, smart alarm systems, elderly and baby monitors, WiFi plug sockets and LED light bulbs which give extra level of control over the home through a single app. And because there are no further subscription fees, the price of the device is the full price you pay.

Bella Smart Video Doorbell & Chime

The Bella Smart Video Doorbell Camera & Chime delivers a 1080p Full HD video, capturing a wide 145-degree angle, with a feed that is accessible in real-time. Infrared night vision enables monitoring at any time of day or night and the device can be powered either by battery or by mains, offering flexible, straightforward and fuss-free installation.

Advanced motion detection software means that alerts are only delivered when a human is detected, and two-way voice communication enables you to talk with the person on your doorstep, whether you’re inside your house, out running an errand or even on holiday.

Bella also features full recording and playback functionality giving you the power to rewind and review past footage, and unlike other leading devices on the market, this option doesn’t require a costly ongoing subscription.

Ava Outdoor WiFi Battery Powered Security Camera

The Ava Outdoor WiFi Battery Powered Security Camera offers fully flexible home protection whatever the weather, day or night, with no cords or wires required. It offers up to four months of battery life per charge, with a power adaptor for easy charging.

The powerful camera delivers 1080p full HD live footage with a 130-degree field of view and advanced human detection, infrared night vision and recording and playback options. Instant motion alerts sent directly to the app allow for round-the-clock monitoring and two-way audio offers an advanced level of deterrent against potential criminals.

Luna Outdoor WiFi Floodlight Security Camera

Perfect for the autumn and winter evenings, the Luna Outdoor WiFi Floodlight Security Camera comes loaded with a full suite of features for the security-conscious, including two large LED floodlight panels capable of illuminating the full area it surveys, as well as a built-in siren to warn away bad actors.

The camera provides Time2’s full range of advanced security features including 1080p full HD live footage, a 135-degree field of view and smart motion detection with a customisable activity zone which only activates when humans are detected in the area you have selected to monitor. Through the app, it delivers live footage, recording and playback options, and two-way audio.

Kam Kothia, chief executive officer of Time2, said: “Whether you’re at home, or visiting friends, family or taking a well-earned holiday, our Clan range of advanced security devices keeps your home and your property safe.

“As the evenings grow longer, the darkness gives would-be criminals even more opportunity to target homes and small businesses. In many cases, they won’t even wait for the property to be empty - last year more than half of all burglaries in the UK happened when someone was home.

“The presence of a camera, floodlights and two-way audio is a major deterrent. And because all our camera devices relay video and audio instantly to the app, all our products are just as effective whether you’re home or not, giving homeowners peace of mind, wherever in the world they are.”

Kam added: “We are a proud British technology company and we’re delighted to be bringing these products to market this autumn. The range is a genuine market contender and we’ve backed our first-rate hardware and cloud technology with a no-subscription offer which makes it the perfect addition to any home.”

All products are offered with free delivery and flexible payment options.
