Voiteq has achieved another milestone as it hosted its largest international Voiteq Voice User Group to-date.

Now in its fifth year, the event was attended by over 130 delegates and included speakers from industry leaders including: the UK Warehousing Association (UKWA), Sainsbury’s, Castell Howell Foods, Ralawise, Littlehampton Books and Honeywell’s Vocollect Solutions team.

Voiteq and its parent company Centriq Group shared their future growth and product strategies, attendees also enjoyed insights from users as well as industry thought-leaders. In addition to the UK, the event was attended by representatives from Ireland, France and North America; making it a truly global event.

“Our annual Voice User Group has become a must-attend event in our customers’ calendars. By delivering real user stories, industry knowledge and updates on our products and solutions, attendees are able to share knowledge and experiences that they can’t obtain anywhere else,” said Isabel McCabe, managing director at Voiteq Ltd

This year’s guest speaker was Peter Ward, chief executive at the UKWA, who delivered an informative update on how the supply chain is evolving through changing buying behaviours, tighter margins and technology.

Additionally, attendees heard about Voiteq’s move into the in-store and inspection markets; using Voice-Directed Work to improve efficiency, accuracy and working standards in these fields. “We will continue to offer leading voice solutions for the supply chain and are now also bringing the benefits of voice to new markets,” remarked Anton du Preez, group sales director at Voiteq.

Voiteq presented on its comprehensive VoiceMan product family, including its industry leading, end-to-end Warehouse Execution System and its Screen-to-Voice connector that has seen strong uptake in all regions in the past 12 months. Customers were also able to see demonstrations of Voiteq’s Business Intelligent Suite featuring real-time dashboards and reports to improve decision making.

“Collectively our product set offers customers with the broadest range of hardware and software options to voice-enable any warehouse function as well as complete reporting and analytical tools for improved visibility and operational analysis,” du Preez continued.

“We’ve seen substantial growth in our business over the last year; not only in revenues and head count, but also in our investment in our people and products. This event is always very important to us and this year was no different. It provides the ideal platform for our customers to meet each other and for us to update them on what we have been doing and where we are heading. Although we now support large international operations, we remain the same customer-focused Voiteq with trusted local service that we have always been. This was evident in the positive feedback we received during the event from our customers, from all over the world,” commented David Stanhope, CEO at Centriq Group. As part of Voiteq’s interactive demo room, delegates were able to gain hands on experience of Voiteq’s solutions portfolio as well as from its partners: Cirrus Logistics, Honeywell Vocollect Solutions, Exponential-e and Cubiscan.
