Up to 50 part time jobs are being created at the new Vault Youth Zone in Preston.
Following the recruitment of a full-time youth work coordinator team in the summer to manage and oversee the charity’s activities, Vault is looking for part-time youth work staff to deliver a host of activities when it opens later this year, including sport, performing arts and enterprise.
Applicants don’t need to have previous experience of youth work, just the drive and passion to make a difference.
The positions range between eight and 24 hours per week.
Among the roles include: Arts Youth Workers in arts and crafts, film and multimedia, music and podcasting, performing arts or drama, sports youth workers in boxing and martial arts, indoor climbing wall, sports hall and multi-use games area and youth workers in health and wellbeing, inclusion, recreational or youth engagement projects and training in the kitchen.
In addition to these youth work roles, part time positions are also available for cleaning operatives, reception team members, and catering assistants.

Vault Youth Zone is due to welcome young people through its doors later this year in the heart of Preston, opposite the city’s iconic bus station.
