Burnley video wall specialists Ultimate Visual Solutions (UVS) have responded to growing demand for their Lucidity video wall controllers by expanding their technical team.

Lucidity has been an incredibly popular solution for UVS clients and partners since it was first launched in early 2019.

Its new expanded range of controllers is faster and more powerful, using very latest CPU (Central Processing Unit) processing power.

UVS has revealed that combined sales of Lucidity software and controllers have increased by 63 per cent since October 2023.

As a result of the rising sales, Matthew Orton has joined the company in the role of IT/AV technician.

He will spend the majority of his time in the build room, working on controller builds, managing the relevant stock and first line support for clients.

Matthew has joined UVS from ADI, Preston, who supply Premier League clubs with their major LED video wall and control systems.

Steve Murphy, UVS managing director said: “This expansion has come as a result of the increase in sale of our Lucidity controller technology, both domestically and internationally.

“Matthew has very good experience in designing and building PCs and servers to suit specific application requirements.

“He has also dealt with first line support for a range of IT and some AV systems and we are excited to welcome him on board.”

The expansion comes after UVS launched a range of displays featuring integrated video wall controllers, believed to be an industry first.

The Lucidity Inside display range features Lucidity Lite installed as standard, providing all the necessary features required to display up to 12 data sources simultaneously.

The 55-inch , 65-inch, 75-inch, 86-inch, 98-inch LCD and modular LED 24/7 display options all have a Lucidity video wall controller and software fitted inside the display.

They allow the viewing of a wide variety of sources, including web pages, message boxes, RSS feeds, IP Cameras and HDMI inputs (via encoders).

UVS, based in the Burnley First – Burnley Business Centre, is led by four senior colleagues who, between them, have more than 90 years’ combined Audio Visual, Control Room and Visual Solutions experience. For further information on UVS, telephone 01282 606525.
