Two New Appointments to True Bearing’s Compliance Team

The Chorley based Financial Planning firm True Bearing have made two new appointments to their Compliance Team in Spring 2023. Mark Greenwood joins in the newly created role of Regional Risk Manager and will work closely with Compliance Director Helen Lupton to support the firm’s growth plan, help the existing compliance team develop, and provide compliance and T&C expertise. Having spent 24 years in Compliance Roles, most recently as Director of Compliance Services at SimplyBiz, Mark brings a wealth of valuable experience to True Bearing.

With years of experience as a Chartered Financial Planner before moving into Compliance roles in 2013, David Valentine joins as Development and Conduct Manager. He has previously worked for prestigious names in financial services including Lloyds Bank and Schroders Personal Wealth, helping financial planners get the most out of their relationship with clients.

Alongside the two new appointments, there have been changes within the existing team, with Paula Lawson promoted to Compliance and Training Manager, supporting our Compliance Director with regulatory requirements.
