The Barn, the restaurant which sits alongside the two Michelin star Moor Hall in Aughton, has earned its third AA Rosette.
The 65-cover restaurant was launched in 2017. In addition to the restaurant, it features a small dairy as well as a meat-aging and curing room.
Head chef Nathan Cornwell oversees a set menu, a la carte and Sunday lunch menu using ingredients that are grown on site or sourced locally.
Mark Birchall, who runs both The Barn and Moor Hall, said: "I’m very proud of Nathan and the rest of the team who have worked so hard to get The Barn to where it is today.
"When we launched The Barn I wanted it to embody the essence of Moor Hall but within a more casual environment. The third AA Rosette recognises our achievement in doing so - we’ve created a fantastic neighborhood restaurant where the produce speaks for itself."
