Blackburn-based pet company TastyBone hosted a royal visit and has been presented an award recognising its worldwide growth.
Lord Shuttleworth, Lord Lieutenant of Lancashire, presented the Queens Award for Enterprise for International Trade to company CEO Tony Raeburn.
He also enjoyed tour of the production facilities along with with the deputy mayor of Blackburn, Coun Pat McFall.TastyBone is the UK’s number one manufacturer of nylon chews and is part of Pets Choice. It exports to 29 countries around the world, and is a Red Rose Awards winner in the manufacturing category.
Tony Raeburn also met with the Queen at Buckingham Palace in July.
