Blackpool Enterprise Week will run in conjunction with Global Entrepreneurship Week, taking place from November 13 to 17 at venues across the resort.
Activities will range from from large-scale events to intimate networking gatherings, and connect participants to potential collaborators, mentors and investors.Free workshops will cater for those who are thinking of starting a business, and some for those who are well established.
A wide range of topics including finance, on-line marketing and selling will be covered as well as the basics of how to start your business and a session on creating customer focussed business models.Councillor Mark Smith, cabinet member for regeneration, enterprise and economic development, said: “Blackpool has long had a reputation for creating entrepreneurs – people with bright ideas who are prepared to turn them into viable businesses.
