Preston-based recruitment agency, Spencer Clarke Group, is pleased to announce a website relaunch, innovatively redesigned to connect employers and jobseekers in a more efficient and streamlined manner.

The website brings a fresh perspective to the recruitment process, leveraging state-of-the-art technology to match top talent with exciting career opportunities.

In an era defined by rapid technological advancements, the recruitment website boasts a streamlined application process, ‘Quick Drop CV’ function and advanced search filters to optimise the candidate journey.

Historically, jobseekers could always narrow down their job preferences based on general criteria such as location, industry and salary range but new advanced filters - which are niche to the industries in which Spencer Clarke Group recruit - will accelerate the job search experience. These include searching for jobs by working pattern type, contract type, sub-specialism and by NHS salary bands.

Additional website features include a user-friendly interface, career pathways, employee stories, FAQs and candidate centric content in a purpose built Career Hub, designed to empower professionals with the tools and knowledge needed to navigate the job market and their careers successfully.

In today's dynamic and competitive job market, jobseekers often face challenges in understanding industry trends, developing essential skills, and crafting a compelling personal brand. Recognising these hurdles, the Career Hub provides a centralised platform which serves as a reliable resource for career development.

“One of our objectives for the new website is to deliver a seamless recruitment experience which includes a frictionless application process,” said managing director, Mike Shorrock.

During the registration process, though not mandatory, jobseekers may now volunteer additional information which could be relevant in matching them to relevant career opportunities. Fields include preferred contract length, distance and time willing to travel and notice period at current position.

Shorrock continued: “As recruiters, it’s important for us to gather relevant information from jobseekers to make an informed decision on what jobs are suitable to them. This benefits both parties as we don’t waste jobseekers' time by contacting them with jobs which they aren’t interested in.”

The website relaunch coincides with Spencer Clarke Group achieving ISO 9001 certification, an independently assessed global accreditation to show their commitment to quality assurance and customer satisfaction, and the grand opening of a new office space within their headquarters in Preston.

The new office space provides a comfortable and vibrant working environment, complete with modern kitchen, Clevertouch interactive screen and full facilities, to accommodate an increasing headcount, fueled by phenomenal growth within the business.

Shorrock added: “The combination of a new website, office space and the ISO 9001 accreditation stands us in extremely good stead for the future of Spencer Clarke Group.”
