An Accrington-based pneumatics manufacturer is set for international expansion with the acquisition of new machinery supported by HSBC UK.
With the support of a six-figure funding package from HSBC UK, ROSS Pneumatrol has acquired a new Citizen L32 Sliding Head Machine for its manufacturing plant.
This equipment has the capacity to automate the manufacture of various valve components including solenoid valves, which ROSS Pneumatrol sells to rail, energy, and industrial sectors globally.
The increase in manufacturing capacity will boost ROSS Pneumatrol’s export capabilities, strengthening the company’s position in international markets across Europe, China, Australia, and Dubai.
Jamie Drummer, managing director of ROSS Pneumatrol, said: “The support from HSBC UK marks a pivotal milestone of growth for the business.
"The funding package has allowed us to drive forward as a business, as we continue to reach new markets globally.
"Acquiring this innovative technology gives us the ability to enhance our export capabilities, increasing the rate at which we can bring new Pneumatrol products to market.”
Chris Heron, commercial banking relationship manager at HSBC UK, added: “It’s great to support ROSS Pneumatrol with its next phase of growth, as they target new markets and international growth.
"We are committed to helping businesses achieve long term success and we look forward to seeing ROSS Pneumatrol continue to develop manufacturing solutions as it expands further across international markets.”
For over 60 years, ROSS Pneumatrol has provided engineered pneumatic solutions for both hazardous and non-hazardous environments, offering expertise across the Process, Rail, and General Industrial sectors.
