Snow is forecast - Drivers urged to take extra care on roads

Snow has started to fall in the UK, with areas waking up to a wintry conditions as the cold weather grips the region.

The Met Office has already issued a yellow weather warning for snow and ice, warning that travel could become tricky and conditions may stay cold for the weekend.

While the snow may look pretty, it can quickly lead to slippery roads, reduced visibility and longer stopping distances, especially on untreated side streets and residential routes.
