Financial Affairs has officially relocated its headquarters from Standish Street in Burnley to the world class facility at Business First Northlight in Brierfield.
The move marks a significant milestone in the company’s growth journey.
Founded in 1972, the long-established firm of insurance brokers and financial planners has spent more than 50 years providing trusted advice to business owners, helping them protect their organisations through tailored insurance solutions and plan confidently for their financial futures.
In recent years, continued expansion of the team meant the business had outgrown its previous premises, prompting the search for a new location that could support its long-term ambitions.
The move to Business First Northlight provides Financial Affairs with approximately 4,500 square feet of flexible workspace, thoughtfully designed to meet the needs of its growing workforce.
The new office has been divided into three key areas: a main open-plan office, a dedicated quiet working space, and a more informal breakout area designed to encourage collaboration and team culture.
Laurence O’Connor, chief executive of Financial Affairs, said: “We’d simply outgrown our old space and knew we had to move if we wanted to continue growing. Northlight ticked all the boxes for us – the office space, the character of the building, and most importantly, the strong sense of community.”
Financial Affairs worked closely with the Business First Northlight team throughout the relocation process.
After waiting for the space to become available, the company completed a rapid one-month turnaround to customise the office and make it its own.
Laurence added: “The support from the Northlight team has been absolutely superb.
“From the initial viewing through to practical help like sourcing desks, the team have been incredibly hands-on. It genuinely feels like they care about helping your business succeed.”
Toby Whittaker, managing director at Business First, added: “We’re really pleased Financial Affairs have chosen 4,500 sq ft at Northlight for their new headquarters, and they will be a great addition to our business community.”
