Skiddle has announced the partnership with OnSide

Longridge headquartered independent ticketing platform Skiddle has announced a new charity partnership with OnSide - committing to raise at least £500,000 for its growing network of Youth Zones.

The partnership marks the latest chapter in Skiddle’s long-standing commitment to charitable giving.

Over the years, the company and its customers have helped raise millions of pounds for good causes including Great Ormond Street Hospital, Alder Hey Children’s Hospital and Macmillan Cancer Support.

OnSide operates 18 Youth Zones across the UK, including three in Lancashire, and each offers a wide range of activities, including sports, fitness, music production and dance.

Skiddle has introduced a new £1 donation option at checkout, enabling customers purchasing tickets through the platform to contribute directly to the partnership.

Richard Dyer, director and co-founder of Skiddle, said: “We're excited to be working with the OnSide team and look forward to the challenge of achieving our lofty goal of raising half a million for the charity over the next few years.

"This initiative reflects our belief in using our platform and community to create meaningful social impact, while helping young people across the UK access the opportunities and guidance they need to thrive."

Jamie Masraff, chief executive at OnSide, said: "We're incredibly grateful to Skiddle for their support and proud to be partnering with them to support young people across the country.

“Every donation made by a Skiddle customer is helping more young people access opportunities, build confidence and benefit from the support of trusted adults through our Network of Youth Zones.

“Partnerships like this play a vital role in helping us continue to provide life-changing opportunities for young people, and we're delighted to be working with a business that shares our commitment to creating brighter futures."

Skiddle celebrated its 25th anniversary earlier this year with a special celebration at Blackpool’s iconic Tower Ballroom.
