Scope Fire & Security is delighted to be supporting Lancashire Women in their latest effort to transform the lives of women and girls across the region.

Lancashire Women is an incredible local charity that empowers women to find their voices, develop skills, share experiences and challenge stereotypes. Their aim is to create a Lancashire in which women are valued and treated as equals.

Hosted by BBC Radio Lancashire presenter Hayley Kay, the charity’s Big Night In will include music, a quiz, an auction and a cocktail masterclass. Local businesses will also have the opportunity to showcase their products during the fundraiser.

Scope is proud to be sponsoring the quiz aspect of the event, which will consist of 2 rounds of questions: Everything Lancashire & All Things Festive!

Adele Helm, business development officer at Lancashire Women said, “like our charity, Scope is a fellow Lancashire bred company so having their support is wonderful and we hope the event will have mutually benefiting outcomes.

We know Christmas will look a lot different this year. Usually this time of the year features Christmas parties, meals and get togethers’ with family and friends.

Hopefully, our Big Night In will give people the opportunity to have fun from the comfort of their own homes, whilst supporting a wonderful charity that has been working throughout lockdown to support women and their families in Lancashire.”

Scott Chapman, managing director at Scope added, “the passion they put in every day to help, support and advise people is humbling. Seeing a charity that puts in that level of work and effort to do those things compels us to contribute somehow.

The work Lancashire Women do and the service they offer is so vital to both the individuals involved and to the wider community. With what’s happening in the world at the moment, it just further underlines how critical these services are and why the selfless work of charities like Lancashire Women is so commendable.”

The event will take place at 7:30 PM on Friday, November 27th (Lancashire Day!) and 100% of the profits will be donated to Lancashire Women.

Want to join the Big Night In? Click here to sign up... and be quick! Anyone who signs up before Friday, 20th November will receive a goodie bag with treats for the perfect night in, including pens, sheets, snacks, cocktail ingredients and much more.

Other local businesses sponsoring the event include Farleys Solicitors and Convene IT.
