Following on from being shortlisted for Small Business of the Year at the 2013 Red Rose Awards, survey and document scanning specialists Scancapture has again been recognised by the local business community.

After 11 years of creating bespoke staff and customer surveys for high-profile clients such as John Lewis and Haven Holidays, business club Downtown in Lancashire has shortlisted Scancapture for the much coveted Business of the Year award.

The nomination comes towards the end of what has been a busy year for the survey specialists. Scancapture has conducted over 50,000 staff and customer surveys for several Lancashire based businesses across sectors ranging from accountancy to construction and retail.

This year Scancapture has worked with leading Lancashire companies John Turner Construction Group, acdc lighting, Lanway Corporate Business Systems, Moore & Smalley LLP, Bensons for Beds, CSL Furniture, Northcote & Ribble Valley Inns, Balfour Beatty Mott McDonald, Heritage Envelopes and Academy Print & Design. Scancapture has also delivered tailored workshops and provided document scanning services to drive their client’s efficiency and development.

Going up against fellow Lancashire businesses Storefirst, Roaming Roosters and the Mosaic Care group, managing director Steve Smith is delighted to once again be named amongst the most enterprising businesses in the region: “This nomination is another example of how the business has continued to develop and grow over the past decade.

"Being recognised by respected business hubs like Downtown in Business not only demonstrates our success but also our contribution to the local business sector as a whole – one which we are proud to be a part of. We are really looking forward to the awards ceremony and it’s brilliant to be named alongside some really exciting and forward thinking businesses.” The awards ceremony is to be held on Thursday 7th November in the plush surroundings of award winning hotel Stanley House, located in the heart of the picturesque Ribble Valley. With 19 gongs to be awarded across several industry sectors and categories, the event promises to be a spectacular celebration of the county’s diverse range of exciting and innovative businesses.
