RTMPS helps Vodafone relocate

Chorley-based RTMPS Ltd has helped Vodafone relocate more than 3,000 of its staff.

Vodafone HQ in Newbury, recently under went a recent integration of staff from within the head quarters complex and staff from the recent Cable & Wireless Worldwide acquisition.

RTPMS Ltd was invited along with Mitie (Vodafone's FM provider) and Premier Moves to plan and manage the relocation of upwards of 3,000 staff over a five phase project plan.

This included furniture reconfiguration, infrastructure reconfigurations, removal of redundant roller racking systems, not to mention the staff's effects and ICT equipment.

The company said: "Of course there are challenges along the way, where would the fun be without those, but really they were insignificant and were really apportioned to staff not taking on board the communications provided or being reticent to change, as many of us are. Creatures of habit, us human types." RTPMS Ltd has now been invited to meet the next challenge with Vodafone, Mitie and Premier Moves with a new phase starting in Greater Manchester soon.
