Recruitment consultancy appoints non-exec director

Four Recruitment has announced the appointment of its first non-exec director.

Chris Brindley has held some high-profile roles, with his most recent being managing director at the challenger bank, Metro Bank. He brings a wealth of experience and expertise that will undoubtedly elevate the business and support Four’s growth trajectory. 

“After hearing Chris speak at an event in 2022 I was blown away by everything he has achieved and his mindset”, says Claire Sofield, managing director at Four Recruitment. “His enviable career at companies such as British Gas, NatWest, Metro Bank and being awarded ‘Britain’s best Boss’ will enable him to lead Four into the next chapter of growth and success.”

With a 69 per cent turnover increase in 2021 and a 39 per cent increase in 2022, Four Recruitment has experienced huge growth over the last two years. In order to replicate this progress they recognized the need to strengthen their executive board.

After utilising and leaning on a network of advisors they knew it was the right time to bring on a skillset that not only complements the existing management team but will allow us to refine Four and set our sights on new opportunities for business growth.

Chris will be working with Four on several commercial and people focused initiatives to help develop and grow the business. He recently delivered a keynote speech to the entire company and exposure to him for other members of the team offers a fantastic and rewarding learning opportunity.

Four Recruitment is a specialist recruitment agency with offices in Manchester and Bolton and a 27 person headcount. The firm was set up in 2008 by brother and sister duo, Claire and Philip Sofield, and specialises in placing candidates in finance, HR, business support, supply chain and executive roles.
