Partnership with college to deliver leadership and managment qualifications

Myerscough College’s short course unit has teamed up with one of the businesses within its rural business incubator to offer a series of Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM) courses.

Corporate Developments is a business that aims to help organisations and individuals grow by developing staff and building more productive teams. It is based within the Rural Business Incubator at Myerscough College, a centre which offers affordable office space for several start- up businesses.

In partnership with Myerscough, Corporate Developments will be delivering the ILM Level 2 Certificate in Leadership and Team Skills and the ILM Level 3 Certificate in Leadership and Management this May.

The Level 2 Certificate is an 11 day course beginning on Monday, May 20 and the Level 3 Certificate is a 12 day course beginning on Wednesday, May 8. Both cover a wide range of skills needed for an individual to develop effectively as a leader or manager.

Myerscough College’s short course unit manager, Colin Todhunter, said: “We are delighted to be working alongside Corporate Developments to deliver these courses. It is of great benefit to us that they are already based here at the college and we are anticipating the partnership to be a great success.”
